| Welcome to The Painting Fool's Website! Linda Hollander is a decorative artist from Western NY. She discovered decorative painting in 1999 when she was inspired by a friend to paint vintage furniture. Wasting no time she booked herself into a large local craft show that same year and sold out of furniture on day one! She was hooked on decorative painting! In 2001 she began teaching at local craft stores and in her home studio. Over the next 5 years she developed her own designs and was first published in 2006. Since then she has published over 55 articles in magazines in the US, Canada, and Australia. Linda loves to travel teach for SDP chapters and painting clubs everywhere!
